Volunteer recruitment for the InteRussia fellowship programmes

Do you need to practice a foreign language? Would you want to meet foreign people of varied employment and introduce them to Russia?

 

If you answered “yes” to all the questions, we invite you to volunteer for organising InteRussia fellowship programmes. This year, the Gorchakov Fund together with its partner organisations will run 16 programmes of the kind. The first one will start as soon as in March. We are for the first time creating a group of volunteers who will assist us in working with the programme participants during the year for better adaptation of non-Russian experts during the fellowship period.

 

Job description:

  • Accompanying fellows at scientific and research and cultural events
  • Meeting and seeing off programme participants 
  • Helping foreigners with personal affairs

Requirements for volunteers: 

  • English language proficiency at a level higher than B2
  • Proficiency in a second or several foreign languages is welcome;
  • Basic knowledge of intercultural communication and diplomatic etiquette; 
  • Communication skills, openness and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to stay in Moscow during the fellowship period.

In order to get into our volunteer roster, you need to:

  1. Apply at the link.
  2. Sit an online interview with the InteRussia team between 11 and 17 March.
  3. Wait for the outcome of your application.

Please note that participation in the organisation of fellowship programmes as a volunteer is not paid. After the completion of each fellowship, we will prepare appreciation letters and small gifts for those who took part in organising them.
